As we think, reflect and puzzle,
Through the clear or muddy puddles,
And look back throughout our April,
When we doubted if we were capable.
And we wrote and doodled and typed,
We expressed, informed and rhymed.
And liked and commented and read,
This was our A to Z!
This is the reflections part of the A-Z challenge. To look back over my 26 posts of April and share my thoughts.
Firstly, what I learned:
1. A whole alphabet of poetry is A LOT!
2. To broaden my horizons and write about topics I previously would not have.
3. People like what I wrote! I doubled my traffic and now have a lot more followers! Yey
What I would change:
1. Viewing more blogs in the challenge, but April was a busy month.
2. Illustrate more poems, but laziness got the better of me!
3. Publicize more, I hate Facebook but I get alot of traffic from there and twitter. You can follow me at @AmyRichardson7
Next year I will:
1. Take part! Although it was demanding, I’m glad I took part.
2. Write about 1 particular topic, maybe it flows better? Maybe it’s easier! Don’t know till I try!
3. Be more prepared! A few of my poems are a bit pants as they were wrote last minute.
Finally, thanks to the hosts of the a-z! Was a great challenge!
Hey there Amy, I enjoyed your posts!
Thanks Liz! I really enjoyed yours! Your theme
worked well and I admire that you have wrote poems and drew an illustration for each! I hope you keep blogging and also keep reading my posts!
Take care!
Congrats UK Mythmaker, it was really fun to read. If you need another challenge, I’ll be posting a prompt is week. I hope your loch-ness imagination takes part!
Yea! I’d like to take part! I am sorry I missed the last one for little red riding hood! A-Z took over my life a bit
Word; next time you’ll have to find an alphabet with fewer letters. Like Rotokas.
Yea!!! The hawiian alphabet only has 12 letters too! They could be a doddle! It’s like a half marathon of a challenge! :p
I know what you mean, I wish I could have visited more. And I didn’t think about publicizing until the middle of the challenge! But it was a lot of fun. π
I love your poem at the beginning!
Thankyou! π please check out a couple of my other poems! Maybe you will enjoy them.
Let’s double your followers again, Miss Imagination, with the Versatile Blogger Award. Congrats!
Thanks! … Again π
hehe, I like the changes that you plan to do. I find it working on a theme throughout the challenge easier, it helps me focus. But try it for yourself to know what’s best for you. See you next year too!
Hi Barbara! Thanks for checking out my reflection post! I hope you have a spare few minutes to have a cheeky look through my challenge! See you next year too! π
Reflection is a good thing, You have done a great job on the A to Z Challenge…
Hopefully you were able to use one of my banners/badges for the Challenge, had as much fun designing them as seeing them around the blog world.
